Welcome to Salony.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Salony website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, booking an appointment, or otherwise interacting with Salony, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • "Salony", "we", "our", or "us" refers to the Salony platform and its operators.

  • "Platform" means the Salony website, mobile applications, software, APIs, and any related services provided by Salony.

  • "Customer" means an individual using the Platform to discover salons, book appointments, communicate with salons, or otherwise access customer-facing features.

  • "Salon" means an independently owned business offering beauty, grooming, wellness, or personal care services through the Platform.

  • "Salon Owner" means the individual or legal entity responsible for managing a Salon's account and business information on the Platform.

  • "Professional" means an individual providing services through a Salon, including but not limited to hairstylists, barbers, colorists, nail technicians, makeup artists, estheticians, massage therapists, or other beauty and wellness professionals.

  • "Appointment" means a reservation made by a Customer through the Platform for one or more services offered by a Salon.

  • "Platform Service Fee" means any fee charged by Salony for facilitating appointments through the Platform.

  • "Content" includes text, photographs, graphics, reviews, ratings, logos, software, videos, documentation, and all other information available on or submitted through the Platform.

2. About Salony

Salony is an online appointment booking platform designed to help Customers discover salons, explore available services, schedule appointments, and manage bookings.

Salony also provides software tools that enable Salons to manage:

  • Business information
  • Staff members
  • Services
  • Pricing
  • Working hours
  • Availability
  • Customer appointments
  • Business operations

Salony acts solely as a technology platform connecting Customers and independent Salons.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Salony:

  • Does not own or operate any Salon listed on the Platform.
  • Does not employ or supervise Salon staff.
  • Does not provide beauty, grooming, or wellness services.
  • Is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of services provided by independent Salons.

Each Salon operates independently and is solely responsible for the services it provides to its Customers.

3. Acceptance of These Terms

By using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Salony.

If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

4. Eligibility

To create an account or use certain features of the Platform, you must:

  • Be at least eighteen (18) years of age; or
  • Have reached the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction; or
  • Use the Platform under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by applicable law.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws while using the Platform.

Salony reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these eligibility requirements.

5. Changes to These Terms

Salony may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:

  • New features or services
  • Changes in applicable law
  • Security improvements
  • Operational or business changes
  • Improvements to the Platform

When material changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document will be revised.

Where required by applicable law, Salony may provide additional notice through the Platform or by email.

Your continued use of the Platform after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those updated Terms.

If you do not agree with any revised Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Platform.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

By using Salony, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

7. User Accounts

Certain features of the Platform require you to create an account.

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information.
  • Keep your information updated.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization or your credentials have been compromised, you must notify Salony immediately.

Salony is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to protect your account credentials.

You may not:

  • Create an account using false or misleading information.
  • Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions or suspensions.
  • Share your account with another person.
  • Sell, transfer, or assign your account without our prior written permission.

Salony reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the Platform or its users.

8. Salon Accounts

Salon Owners may register a business account to manage their salon on the Platform.

A Salon Owner is responsible for ensuring that all information published through their account is accurate, complete, and kept up to date.

Salon accounts may manage, including but not limited to:

  • Salon information
  • Contact details
  • Services
  • Pricing
  • Staff members
  • Business hours
  • Availability
  • Appointment settings
  • Promotions and offers

Salon Owners are responsible for all actions performed by individuals who are granted access to their salon account.

Salony reserves the right to edit, suspend, hide, or remove salon listings that:

  • Contain false or misleading information.
  • Violate applicable laws.
  • Infringe the rights of third parties.
  • Damage the integrity or reputation of the Platform.
  • Violate these Terms.

Salon Owners remain solely responsible for the services provided by their business and staff.

9. Appointments

Customers may use the Platform to request appointments with participating Salons.

Appointment availability displayed on the Platform is provided by the respective Salon.

Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee that the requested time will remain available until the booking process is completed.

Depending on the Salon's settings, appointments may:

  • Be confirmed immediately.
  • Require approval by the Salon before becoming confirmed.

Customers are responsible for reviewing appointment details before confirming a booking, including:

  • Selected services
  • Assigned professional, where applicable
  • Appointment date and time
  • Applicable Platform Service Fee
  • Any salon-specific booking policies

Customers are responsible for arriving on time for scheduled appointments.

Repeated abuse of the appointment system may result in account restrictions.

10. Platform Service Fee

Salony may charge a Platform Service Fee for facilitating appointments through the Platform.

The applicable fee will always be displayed before an appointment is confirmed.

The Platform Service Fee:

  • Is charged by Salony.
  • Is separate from the price charged by the Salon for its services.
  • Covers the use of the Platform and related booking services.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated by Salony, the Platform Service Fee becomes non-refundable once an appointment has been successfully created.

Salony reserves the right to modify the Platform Service Fee at any time.

Any fee changes apply only to future appointments and will be displayed before confirmation.

11. Salon Pricing

All service prices displayed on the Platform are determined by the respective Salon.

Each Salon is solely responsible for:

  • Pricing its services.
  • Updating prices.
  • Applying taxes where applicable.
  • Offering promotions or discounts.
  • Charging any additional fees permitted by applicable law.

Salony does not guarantee that pricing displayed by a Salon is free from errors.

If pricing errors occur, the Salon is responsible for resolving them with the Customer.

12. Payments

Salony may facilitate certain payment-related functionality through the Platform.

The availability of payment methods may vary depending on:

  • Your location.
  • The participating Salon.
  • Available payment providers.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any payment information they provide is accurate and authorized.

Salons remain solely responsible for collecting payment for their services unless otherwise expressly indicated by the Platform.

Salony may suspend payment-related functionality where fraudulent, suspicious, or unauthorized activity is detected.

13. Cancellations

Customers may cancel appointments through the Platform, subject to the cancellation policies established by the respective Salon.

Each Salon may define its own cancellation rules, including:

  • Cancellation deadlines.
  • Late cancellation restrictions.
  • Appointment approval requirements.
  • Rescheduling policies.

Customers should review the applicable cancellation policy before confirming an appointment.

Where permitted by applicable law, cancellation of an appointment does not automatically entitle a Customer to a refund of the Platform Service Fee.

14. No-Shows

A Customer who fails to attend a scheduled appointment without cancelling in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy may be considered a no-show.

Salons may apply reasonable booking restrictions following repeated no-shows, including:

  • Requiring manual approval for future appointments.
  • Restricting online bookings.
  • Other reasonable measures permitted by the Platform.

Salony may also impose account restrictions where repeated no-show behavior negatively impacts Salons or the Platform.

15. Salon Responsibilities

Each Salon agrees that it is solely responsible for:

  • Providing the services advertised.
  • Maintaining appropriate licenses and permits where required.
  • Employing qualified professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate business information.
  • Honoring confirmed appointments whenever reasonably possible.
  • Complying with applicable laws and regulations.

Salony does not supervise, manage, or guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of services offered by Salons.

Customers acknowledge that their agreement for beauty or wellness services is directly between themselves and the Salon providing those services.

16. Reviews and Ratings

Salony may allow Customers to submit reviews, ratings, and other feedback regarding completed appointments.

By submitting a review, you represent and warrant that:

  • Your review reflects your genuine experience.
  • The information provided is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • Your review does not contain defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, misleading, or unlawful content.
  • Your review does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

Customers may not submit reviews that:

  • Contain hate speech or harassment.
  • Include threats or abusive language.
  • Reveal another person's private information.
  • Promote competing businesses or unrelated products.
  • Contain spam or repeated content.
  • Intentionally manipulate a Salon's reputation.

Salony reserves the right, but is not obligated, to moderate, edit, refuse, or remove reviews that violate these Terms or applicable law.

The publication or removal of a review is at Salony's sole discretion.

17. User Content

Certain features of the Platform may allow users to submit or upload content, including but not limited to:

  • Profile information
  • Reviews
  • Ratings
  • Messages
  • Images
  • Business information
  • Promotional material

You retain ownership of any content that you submit.

However, by submitting content through the Platform, you grant Salony a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to:

  • Store your content.
  • Display your content.
  • Modify formatting where necessary.
  • Reproduce your content.
  • Distribute your content within the Platform.
  • Use your content for operating, improving, promoting, and securing the Platform.

This license ends when your content is permanently removed from the Platform, except where retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

18. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the Platform for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.
  • Create fake appointments.
  • Create fake Salon accounts.
  • Impersonate another person or business.
  • Circumvent Platform security measures.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
  • Upload malware or malicious code.
  • Interfere with the operation of the Platform.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the Platform.
  • Scrape or collect Platform data without written permission.
  • Use bots or automated systems that negatively impact Platform performance.
  • Abuse promotions or referral programs.
  • Harass Customers, Professionals, Salons, or Salony staff.

Salony may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required by applicable law.

19. Intellectual Property

The Platform and all associated intellectual property are owned by Salony or its licensors.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Software
  • Source code
  • User interface designs
  • Logos
  • Trademarks
  • Graphics
  • Icons
  • Text
  • Documentation
  • Databases
  • Platform features

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

Subject to these Terms, Salony grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform solely for its intended purposes.

You may not:

  • Copy the Platform.
  • Modify the Platform.
  • Reverse engineer the Platform.
  • Create derivative works.
  • Sell or sublicense the Platform.
  • Use Salony's branding without prior written permission.

20. Third-Party Services

The Platform may rely upon or integrate with third-party services.

These may include:

  • Authentication providers.
  • Mapping services.
  • Cloud hosting providers.
  • Push notification providers.
  • Analytics services.
  • Payment providers.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Salony is not responsible for the availability, functionality, or practices of third-party providers.

Links to third-party websites are provided solely for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

21. Availability of the Platform

Salony strives to provide a reliable Platform.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The Platform may become unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance.
  • Emergency maintenance.
  • Internet failures.
  • Third-party outages.
  • Hardware failures.
  • Security incidents.
  • Force majeure events.

Salony may suspend access to all or part of the Platform at any time for operational, security, or maintenance purposes.

We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary interruptions or unavailability.

22. Beta Features

From time to time, Salony may make experimental or beta features available.

Beta features:

  • May contain bugs or errors.
  • May change without notice.
  • May be discontinued at any time.
  • Are provided on an "as available" basis.

Your use of beta features is entirely at your own risk.

Salony is under no obligation to continue supporting any beta feature.

23. Feedback

We welcome suggestions, ideas, and feedback regarding the Platform.

If you submit feedback to Salony, you agree that:

  • Your feedback is voluntary.
  • Salony may use your feedback without restriction.
  • Salony owes you no compensation for the use of your ideas.
  • You waive any claim relating to the implementation of your feedback.

Nothing in this section transfers ownership of your existing intellectual property.

24. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SALONY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION:

  • MERCHANTABILITY;
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT;
  • CONTINUOUS AVAILABILITY;
  • ACCURACY OF INFORMATION;
  • RELIABILITY OF THE PLATFORM.

Salony does not warrant or guarantee that:

  • The Platform will always be available.
  • Appointments will always be successfully created.
  • Salon information is always complete or accurate.
  • Services provided by Salons will meet your expectations.
  • The Platform will be free from bugs, interruptions, delays, or security vulnerabilities.

Customers acknowledge that all services offered through the Platform are provided by independent Salons and Professionals.

Salony does not supervise, inspect, guarantee, or endorse any Salon or Professional listed on the Platform.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Salony, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect damages;
  • Incidental damages;
  • Special damages;
  • Consequential damages;
  • Exemplary damages;
  • Punitive damages;
  • Loss of profits;
  • Loss of revenue;
  • Loss of business opportunity;
  • Loss of goodwill;
  • Loss of data;
  • Personal inconvenience;
  • Missed appointments;
  • Dissatisfaction with services provided by a Salon.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory upon which liability is asserted, including contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise.

Without limiting the foregoing, Salony shall not be responsible for:

  • The quality or outcome of any service performed by a Salon.
  • Injuries or damages arising from services performed by a Salon.
  • Allergic reactions or medical complications.
  • Scheduling errors made by Salons.
  • Appointment cancellations by Salons.
  • Pricing errors published by Salons.
  • Delays caused by Salons.
  • Conduct of Customers or Salon staff.

Where applicable law permits, Salony's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount of Platform Service Fees paid by you to Salony during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

26. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Salony, its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the Platform;
  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your violation of applicable laws or regulations;
  • Your negligence or misconduct;
  • Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of another person;
  • Content submitted by you;
  • Any dispute between you and another user or Salon.

Salony reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you.

27. Suspension and Termination

Salony may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access to the Platform at any time if we reasonably believe that you have:

  • Violated these Terms;
  • Violated applicable laws;
  • Engaged in fraudulent activity;
  • Created fake appointments or accounts;
  • Attempted to compromise Platform security;
  • Harassed Customers, Professionals, Salon staff, or Salony personnel;
  • Used the Platform in a manner that may damage its reputation or integrity.

Where appropriate, Salony may provide notice before suspension or termination.

Termination of your account does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.

Certain information may continue to be retained after account deletion where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including fraud prevention, dispute resolution, auditing, or legal compliance.

28. Force Majeure

Salony shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Fire;
  • Flood;
  • Earthquake;
  • Epidemic or pandemic;
  • War;
  • Terrorism;
  • Civil unrest;
  • Government action;
  • Labor disputes;
  • Internet outages;
  • Power failures;
  • Cyberattacks;
  • Failures of third-party service providers.

Performance shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.

29. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict of law principles.

30. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to first contact Salony and make reasonable efforts to resolve the dispute informally.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiations within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue any remedies available under applicable law before the competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

31. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

32. No Waiver

Failure by Salony to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights.

Any waiver must be made expressly and in writing by an authorized representative of Salony.

33. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without Salony's prior written consent.

Salony may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, in connection with:

  • A merger;
  • Acquisition;
  • Sale of assets;
  • Corporate restructuring;
  • Financing transaction;
  • Change of ownership.

34. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Salony regarding your use of the Platform.

They supersede all prior agreements, understandings, representations, and communications relating to the subject matter of these Terms.
